At the diocesan Pre-Confirmation retreats, youth connect with others from around the Diocese, and especially with other youth from around their own deaneries, who are also considering celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation. Youth explore this mature decision of faith with their peers and mentors in a very fun, active, and celebratory atmosphere. There are three main worship blocks, each with its own topic & emphasis, and discussions. Each retreats also features live music provided by phenomenal professional musicians.
This event is sponsored by the diocesan Office for Youth Ministries and the Diocesan Youth Council (DYC). It is intended for students in grades 8-12, their adult mentors in youth ministry, and their parish priests and/or Youth Ministers. The cost is $85.00 per person.
